چکیده مقاله
This study delves into the vital role of community engagement in coastal conservation, emphasizing the necessity
of integrating local knowledge and practices into policy frameworks to enhance the sustainability of coastal
ecosystems. Recognizing that coastal areas are under increasing pressure from climate change, pollution, and
habitat degradation, the research underscores the importance of fostering collaborative relationships between local
communities, policymakers, and conservationists.
Through a thorough examination of various case studies and best practices, the findings illustrate how community
involvement not only enriches conservation strategies but also promotes a sense of ownership and stewardship
among local populations. The incorporation of traditional ecological knowledge into conservation initiatives has
proven effective in tailoring approaches that resonate with the unique socio-economic contexts of coastal regions.
By empowering community members to actively participate in decision-making processes, we can cultivate a
culture of environmental responsibility that leads to more resilient ecosystems.Furthermore, the study highlights the
significance of well-structured policies in facilitating effective coastal management. The establishment of marine
protected areas serves as a prime example of how policy can safeguard critical habitats while allowing for
sustainable resource use by local communities. The research advocates for integrated coastal zone Management as a holistic strategy that harmonizes economic development with environmental protection, ensuring that
both objectives are pursued concurrently. The findings also emphasize the need for adaptive management strategies
to respond proactively to the challenges posed by climate change. As rising sea levels and increased storm intensity
threaten coastal ecosystems, policies that prioritize habitat restoration and .conservation become imperative
