| This study delves into the vital role of community engagement in coastal conservation, emphasizing the necessity of integrating local knowledge and practices into policy frameworks to enhance the sustainability of coastal ecosystems. Recognizing that coastal areas are under increasing pressure from climate change, pollution, and habitat degradation, the research underscores the importance of fostering collaborative relationships between local communities, policymakers, and conservationists. Through a thorough examination of various case studies and best practices, the findings illustrate how community involvement not only enriches conservation strategies but also promotes a sense of ownership and stewardship among local populations. The incorporation of traditional ecological knowledge into conservation initiatives has proven effective in tailoring approaches that resonate with the unique socio-economic contexts of coastal regions.
